Mango Mulcher
One Pass. Anthracnose Stopped.
TMC Cancela mulchers process mango branches up to 100mm and fallen fruit on-site. Fruit fly starved. Disease cycle broken.
- Processes 40mm prunings to 100mm limbs
- Destroys fallen mangoes (QFF, Medfly)
- Eliminates anthracnose harbourage
- Handles large-canopy pruning volumes

TMC CANCELA has more than 40 years of excellence and innovation

LARGE CANOPIES DROP HEAVY VOLUMES
Why mango orchards need mulching
Mango trees (Mangifera indica) carry large canopies and drop heavy 40–100mm pruning limbs every season. Volumes routinely exceed 5 tonnes per hectare.
Anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides) overwinters on dead wood and mummified fruit. Queensland and Mediterranean fruit flies breed in any fallen fruit left to rot.

Heavy-duty equipment for heavy limbs
The TGS and TGI handle heavy mango limbs that orchard shredders alone can't process. The TOK and TOX handle standard pruning at speed.

Fruit fly biosecurity
QFF and Medfly together cost the Australian mango industry tens of millions per year in spray, trap, and quarantine programs.
A clean orchard floor is the single biggest passive control. Continuous in-season shredding with the TP or TPS keeps the breeding substrate gone.

Anthracnose cycle broken
Anthracnose lesions on dead branches release spores in wet conditions. Shredded residue decomposes too fast for the pathogen to maintain a reservoir.
Combined with calendar fungicide programs, the disease pressure across a season drops sharply.
