One Pass. Seed Stopped.
TMC Cancela mulchers destroy ryegrass before seed set — bypassing herbicide resistance. IWM tool.
- Destroys plants pre-seed-set
- Non-chemical — no resistance
- Up to 320cm broadacre widths

AUSTRALIA'S MOST RESISTANT WEED
Why annual ryegrass demands mulching
Annual ryegrass (Lolium rigidum) is the most herbicide-resistant weed in Australian cropping. Multiple-resistance to glyphosate, paraquat, ALS, ACCase, and pre-emergence chemistry has reached every cropping region.
Each plant produces 200–700 viable seeds. The seed bank persists 3–5 years.

Mechanical control bypasses resistance
Mulching destroys the plant mechanically — herbicide resistance is irrelevant. Pre-seed-set mulching stops the seed rain at its source.

Integrated Weed Management (IWM) tool
Ryegrass control demands integrated tactics — chemical, harvest weed seed control (HWSC), crop rotation, and mechanical destruction.
Pre-seed-set mulching of ryegrass-infested margins, fence lines, and patches inside paddocks complements chaff lining, narrow windrow burning, and chaff carts at harvest.

Wide widths for cropping country
The TGS and TGI cover broadacre paddocks fast on standard PTO tractors. The mulching window — before ryegrass seed hardens — is roughly 3–4 weeks. Wide widths fit hundreds of hectares inside the optimal window.
